Central Committee

Central Steering Committee

To provide strategic oversight, ensure cohesive coordination among all committees, and make high-level decisions that shape the overall direction and success of the 1st International Conference on Igala Studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to all sub-committees
  • • Ensure alignment of all committee activities with conference objectives
  • • Resolve inter-committee conflicts and coordinate cross-committee initiatives
  • • Review and approve major conference decisions, budgets, and policies
  • • Monitor overall conference progress against established milestones
  • • Serve as the final decision-making body for conference-wide matters
  • • Liaise with the Attah Igala, government officials, and key stakeholders
  • • Ensure cultural authenticity and academic excellence across all activities
  • • Approve the final conference program, keynote speakers, and major events
  • • Oversee risk management and contingency planning
  • • Evaluate post-conference outcomes and legacy planning
